Dr. Chongyu Wang is an assistant professor in the Department of Risk Management/Insurance, Real Estate and Legal Studies at Florida State University’s College of Business. His academic publications have included articles on real estate economics and finance, and his research has been published in the leading business journals (e.g., Review of Asset Pricing Studies) and the leading real estate journals (e.g., Real Estate Economics, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics).

Wang’s research has won several research awards and grants, including the Best REIT Manuscript Prize by the American Real Estate Society (2022).

Prior to joining FSU, Wang worked as an assistant professor of real estate finance at the University of Hong Kong, an assistant professor of finance at Concordia University and a post-doctoral associate at the University of Florida.
