Mr. Braselton is an experienced banker, business leader and CFO with a securitization, derivatives and structured products background of more than twenty years in global banks. He thrives in a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment having recently served as CFO and board member of an Inc 5000 (#121) financial technology company. Mr. Braselton currently manages and finances esoteric assets and assists financial technology companies as an advisor, operating partner and banker. 

During his two-decade career on Wall Street, Mr. Braselton oversaw groups responsible for sales, marketing and product management of structured products and derivatives. In each case he was instrumental in the rapid growth in revenues and market share though clear communication, innovation and the assembling of strong, independent and successful teams from both internal and external talent. In addition to serving as an MD at sell side firms including Morgan Stanley (NY) and Bank of America (London and NY), Mr. Braselton spent the 2008 financial crises originating and evaluating distressed opportunities for Garrison Investment Group, a debt focused hedge fund.

He more recently served as CFO and board member of Factor Cloud (formerly BAMFi), a technology driven specialty finance company focused on the logistics and construction industries. Factor Cloud tripled revenue three years running and was recognized by Inc Magazine as the 121st fastest growing company in the 2019 Inc 5000 list. As CFO, Mr. Braselton oversaw and completed multiple financing rounds including equity, preferred stock, convertible debt and over $100mm in credit lines with national banks, BDCs and credit funds. 

He currently multiple companies, primarily as an advisor for balance sheet optimization, capital raising and related financial reporting.  Mr. Braselton serves as an operating partner and general partner managing esoteric asset portfolios ranging from distressed residential mortgages to whiskey barrels. 

He started his career as a CPA at KPMG. 

He has a BS in Accounting from Florida State (Magna Cum Laude) and an MBA in International Finance from the University of Chicago (Distinction).
