C. F. Sirmans specializes in real estate and has published extensively in leading real estate, finance and economics journals. He serves as editor of The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics and is on the editorial board of numerous real estate academic journals. He teaches real estate investment decision-making. His research interests include securitization of equity real estate, spatial analysis of real estate markets and real property law and economics.
