R. Michael Holmes Jr. is the Jim Moran Associate Professor of Strategic Management at Florida State University. Holmes holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University and a B.S. from The University of Alabama. He serves as the secretary for the Strategic Management Division (formerly the Business Policy and Strategy Division) within the Academy of Management. His research focuses mainly on institutions and on the psychological foundations of strategy and entrepreneurship. It has been published or accepted for publication in the Academy of Management JournalAcademy of Management ReviewAcademy of Management PerspectivesEntrepreneurship Theory and PracticeJournal of ManagementOrganizational Behavior and Human Decision ProcessesPersonnel Psychology, and Strategic Management Journal, among other outlets.
