William (Bill) Woodyard currently serves as Chairman of the Faculty and Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee at the Florida State University College of Business. He teaches Business Law and Real Estate. Prior to joining the FSU faculty in 1998, Bill served for 10 years as general counsel to the Florida Department of Business Regulation and served.He is a past recipient of the Ross Oglesby Award, which recognizes an FSU faculty or staff member who has for ten or more years exemplified the highest order of integrity, service, and commitment to students and to the university. He serves as the faculty adviser to a number of FSU organizations including Alpha Kappa Psi, the professional business fraternity and Beta Gamma Sigma, the highest academic business honorary.
