Keith is a graduate of Florida State University, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in risk management and insurance (1981). In his 30-plus years in the insurance industry, Keith has earned professional designations as a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI). He has served as an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Risk Management/Insurance, Real Estate and Legal Studies at Florida State since 1999. Mr. Jones is also an Emmy Award-winning sportscaster as a college football analyst, serves as a color analyst for football and basketball on the Seminole/IMG Radio Network and hosts a weekly Radio Show - the Front Row - that airs on ESPN 97.9 locally in Tallahassee.

Keith and his wife Kathy (Florida State, Finance, 1978) reside in Tallahassee and Cape San Blas and have five children and eight grandchildren.
