Oct 12, 2017

Broward County, Fla. — The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship in the Florida State University College of Business is in the final month of the application period for its Nonprofit Executive Program (NPEP) class in Broward County. All applications are due Tuesday, Oct. 31.

“We encourage all business executives in Broward County to apply before the deadline,” said Jennifer Kovach, director of the Jim Moran Institute’s South Florida Operations. “We have given business leaders an unparalleled opportunity to grow, develop leadership expertise, and prepare for new challenges that lie ahead, and are thrilled to begin another class in Broward County.”

The NPEP program is designed for nonprofit organization executives and is offered at no cost to participants. The NPEP offers a world-class learning experience that is ideal for CEOs, presidents and executive directors. This program teaches executives to emerge as stronger leaders ready to capitalize on business opportunities, implement best practice management, and turn challenges into strategic advantages. Some of the most accomplished entrepreneurship experts, business consultants and leaders from around South Florida teach in the program.

Those interested in applying for the program should visit and click on “Programs” to apply. Applicants must be actively involved in running a business and be the decision makers. The companies should be established for at least three years, and have three or more employees. The program is offered twice a year and up to 25 applicants are accepted per session.

The Broward County 2018 NPEP will begin on January 22 with an orientation and opening reception. The first training session will begin January 24. The program’s nine sessions will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at various locations in Broward county every other week through May 15.

Graduates of each program receive a certificate, are afforded the opportunity to form managed peer roundtables, and are regularly invited to workshops, conferences and other Jim Moran Institute events.
