Dr. Baixiao Liu is an associate professor in the Department of Finance at Florida State University’s College of Business. He teaches courses on corporate finance, investment management and mergers and acquisitions. Liu’s research interests include financial media, short selling and mergers and acquisitions.

Liu received his bachelor’s degree in communication engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and his MBA and Ph.D. in finance from Purdue University.
