Eduardo Fuste is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Accounting at Florida State University (FSU). Eduardo conducts archival financial research, with an emphasis on how investors perceive accounting information disclosed in a tax setting and on the information content of voluntary disclosures for the capital markets. Eduardo successfully completed his dissertation proposal defense on June 25, 2020.
Prior to his doctoral studies, Eduardo earned his Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Accounting from the Florida International University. He became an experienced associate in the audit and assurance practice at PWC in Miami, Florida. At PWC, Eduardo worked with a variety of clients in the retail, transportation, commercial real estate, and banking industries. Currently, Eduardo is a member of The PhD Project Accounting Doctoral Students Association and the Fellows Society at FSU. In addition, Eduardo is a McKnight Doctoral Fellow and an AAA/Deloitte/J. Michael Cook Doctoral Consortium Fellow.
