Eric is an accounting doctoral student at the Florida State University. His current research interests focus on emerging information systems technology influencing the audit and financial statements. Eric is specifically interested in how AI, deep learning, and Blockchain technologies will help transform accounting and the audit. Prior to his doctoral studies, Eric was an accounting lecturer at Arizona State University and a tax associate with EY Financial Services in Philadelphia, PA. At Arizona State, he predominantly taught introductory financial accounting. While at EY, he worked with financial corporations, predominantly mutual funds, and partnerships, including hedge funds and private equity funds. Eric received his Master’s of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Arizona State University.
