Dr. François Cocquemas is an assistant professor (tenure track) in the Department of Finance at Florida State University's College of Business. His research focuses on financial markets, specifically options and other derivatives, short selling, and market microstructure. He teaches Investments at the undergraduate level. Before joining FSU, he was a postdoctoral research scholar at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management, under the supervision of Robert E. Whaley.
Cocquemas holds a Ph.D. in finance from EDHEC Business School (France), as well as a master in economics and a master in finance.
