Pat Pallentino is a senior lecturer in the Dr. Persis E. Rockwood School of Marketing at Florida State University’s College of Business, where he teaches courses in professional selling, competitive selling, sales management and advanced sales techniques. Utilizing more than 30 years of industry experience in computer engineering, technology sales and sales management, he developed the professional sales curriculum, along with several other FSU professors.
Pallentino also created the International Collegiate Sales Competition, which is hosted by the FSU Sales Institute. The competition is the largest of its kind with more than 80 universities whose students participate in role-play, speed selling and sales management competitions. The four-day event also features a career fair with recruiters representing more than 30 companies.
Pallentino received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and graduate studies from the Pratt Institute.
