Keynote Speaker
Bethany Schenk, CEO of Art Originals (Former Founder and CEO, Web Benefits Design)
Bethany Schenk is a graduate of FSU with a bachelor's degree in risk management and insurance. Schenk's career experience includes working as a property and casualty underwriter at Aetna for two years and a sales executive at CIGNA Healthcare for five years, before founding her own employee benefits brokerage firm - BeneTek Corporation (Benefits and Technology) in 1999. In 2001, she started a second business and technology team called Web Benefits Design (WBD), which provides online enrollment and technology solutions to help consumers enroll in their employee benefits and helps employers with seamless administration, communications, compliance and auto-connectivity to payroll and carrier systems. In 2019, Schenk sold WBD and BeneTek to a publicly-traded company and is now responsible for scaling the organization and leveraging insurance sales through technology on a national level. In 2022, Schenk started a new company called Art Originals.
She and her husband live in Orlando and have four daughters.

Betsy Brown, Attorney, Fasig | Brooks
Betsy Brown was born and raised in the Florida Panhandle and has made Tallahassee her home. She attended Auburn University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in accountancy, before attending Florida State University's College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2005. Brown's practice from the start has been 100% litigation. She has tried cases in federal, state and administrative courts, and has significant experience in resolving matters through arbitration. Brown enjoys the challenge and energy of the courtroom and the chess match of trial preparation and practice. She uses her hard-earned skills to put her clients in the best position possible to recover the full value of their cases.
Christina Chancey, Senior Human Resources Manager, Danfoss, LLC
Christina Chancey is a human resources professional, with 12-plus years of experience, specializing in employee relations, leadership development, management training/coaching and employee engagement. In her current role, Chancey is the senior human resources manager for Danfoss, LLC, a global company that is widely focused on creating sustainable solutions in the cooling, heating and power solutions segments. She is a leadership team member at the Tallahassee facility, which is a manufacturing and innovation hub for the HVAC industry.
In 2008, Chancey graduated with her bachelor's degree from Florida State University, and in 2015, she graduated with her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nova Southeastern University. Also in 2015, she achieved her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, and then in 2018, she received her Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
Jennifer Durden, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, FSU Credit Union
Jennifer Durden is a proud graduate of FSU's College of Business with a degree in accounting. She is currently the executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Florida State University Credit Union. In her 24 years there, she has been an integral part of its growth, increasing from approximately $27 million in assets when she started to more than $400 million today. She has led both the operational and financial aspects of three successful mergers. Durden works closely with state and federal examiners to navigate the heavily regulated banking industry. She helps cast the strategic vision for the credit union and oversees asset/liability management. Durden also is the chief financial officer of the thriving business she and her husband, Brian, started in 1999. They have one son in the Navy, one in college and their daughter is a junior at Lincoln High School. In her free time, she loves traveling with her family and watching her daughter play basketball and flag football for Lincoln.
Tony Fusco, Attorney, Fasig | Brooks
Tony Fusco was born in Oxford, England, while his father was stationed there as an Air Force officer, and grew up in Venice, Florida. Fusco is a proud Eagle Scout. While obtaining his undergraduate degree at Florida State University, he was heavily involved in assisting those in need. He worked for various non-profits and causes, eventually directing a student-run group that raised money, supplies and awareness for Haiti Relief after the 2010 Haitian earthquake. In recognition of his dedication to others and to the university, Fusco was selected as a member of the Florida State University homecoming court his graduating year. He attended Florida State University's College of Law, where he was a member of Business Review Journal and the president of the College Trial Team, competing in litigation competitions against top law schools across the nation. Fusco clerked at Fasig Brooks during law school and is currently an associate attorney.

Jimmy Fasig, Managing Partner, Fasig | Brooks
Jimmy Fasig is the leader of Fasig | Brooks's personal injury division and is the lead trial counsel on most of Fasig | Brook's non-medical malpractice cases. In 2000, he started his law career as a paralegal for what was then Eubanks & Barrett. In his first full year as a lawyer, he litigated a case that resulted in a $1.6 million dollar recovery. His client walked away with more than a million dollars after paying attorney fees and costs. Fasig became a partner and shareholder in the law firm that same year. He received a bachelor's degree from UCF, and he graduated from FSU's College of Law.
Erin Rock, Government Consultant, The Southern Group
Erin Rock joined The Southern Group’s Tallahassee office in 2019 bringing expertise across a broad range of industry sectors, including public administration; procurement; communications; education; environment and sustainability; children, family and senior issues; and technology. Rock joined Southern after serving six years at the Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) as Chief of Staff, Deputy Secretary and Secretary overseeing every aspect of the state’s shared services administration. In addition to her work at DMS, Rock has filled advisory roles in various executive agencies, including the Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Department of Education and the Florida departments of Children and Families and Elder Affairs. Rock began her political career as deputy public affairs director for the Florida Department of Community Affairs. She also served two sessions as a staff director in the Florida House of Representatives.
Rock is a proud graduate of the University of North Florida, where she received a B.A. in mass communications. She lives in Tallahassee with her husband, Bret, and their two children.
Julia Gill Woodward, Chief Executive Officer, Florida State Parks Foundation
Julia Gill Woodward is the chief executive officer of the Florida State Parks Foundation, the official support organization of the Florida Park Service. Before entering the non-profit sector, Woodward had more than 10 years of campaign and government experience. She has worked across the spectrum in Florida politics – including managing multiple campaigns, serving as a congressional chief of staff in Washington and most recently, managing Gwen Graham's gubernatorial bid. Campaigns under her leadership have been recognized nationally as the best-run operations in their cycle. In 2014, Roll Call named the campaign she managed one of "The Best Congressional Campaigns of 2014" and the Cook Political Report ranked the campaign as one of the "Most Impressive Campaigns."
Woodward is a 2007 graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in criminology and psychology. She currently resides in Tallahassee with her husband, Paul, and two sons, John and Mark. She enjoys hiking with her family and watching the latest mountaineering documentary.
