BUSINESS MENTORSHIP PROGRAM APPLICATION OPENS

Apply for an opportunity to learn from successful business alumni or friends of the college. You will be matched with a mentor for one semester to communicate for at least 30 minutes a week beginning mid-February. Each pairing is chosen based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) major, intended career field, ideal living location and professional interests. Benefit from a mentor’s encouragement and insight on career development, personal growth and challenges in the workplace.

Learn the ropes from an upperclassman. Incoming business students are linked with juniors and seniors, who serve as mentors, offering valuable guidance on navigating through the college and making the most of your experience. Learn about the benefits of pursuing a Ph.D. in business. Open to all academic backgrounds, the College of Business offers Ph.D. majors in accounting, finance, marketing, management information systems, organizational behavior and human resources, risk management and insurance, or strategy. Did you know business professors are in the top 10% of American earners? In addition to competitive salaries, the job involves teaching, research and service duties and typically provides a high level of autonomy.
