Apply for a Combined Pathway

Select undergraduate majors may apply to pursue a combined pathway that provides a jump-start on graduate studies. Students are eligible if they have a 3.4+ GPA overall, a 3.2+ GPA overall in upper-division coursework and 3.2+ GPA in discipline-specific upper-division coursework. Interested eligible students apply for the combined pathway by the end of the second semester of their junior year. Admitted students are then able to register for graduate courses during their senior year. Combined pathway students must average a 3.0 GPA or higher in the three double-counted courses in order for their work to count toward the master’s degree.

Students accepted to the combined pathway will still be required to apply separately to the master’s degree program. Students should do this during the first semester of their senior year.
