What are your primary job responsibilities?

I lead a team of commercial risk management advisors at Baldwin Risk Partners, bringing a holistic and entrepreneurial approach in helping mid-market clients solve complex challenges and better understand their unique risk topography.

Why did you choose the MS-RMI Program at FSU?

How did your graduate education help shape your professional experiences

? My graduate education has given me a unique perspective in creating career goals and solving business challenges, while also opening rewarding doors through expanding my professional network relationships.

How has working in your industry changed the way you look at the world?

Working in the risk management industry has helped me learn to look at the world through different lenses, continuously striving to better understand key economic indicators and the intersections of risk.

How have you stayed connected to the FSU MS-RMI Program?

Having the privilege of serving on the RMI Executive Council has been an incredible way to stay connected to FSU, the RMI program, the faculty and the students, and enjoy giving back to the program in a meaningful way.

What advice would you give yourself in college?

I'd say to set personal goals and make the most of every opportunity and every day, and enjoy the ride…because before you know it, you'll be asked to give similar advice to the next generation.

Who do you look to for inspiration?

I look to anyone and everyone who is making a positive difference in the world and people around them every day. It really can be infectious, and we all have talents that we can pay forward to help others in both big and small ways.

What would someone be surprised to learn about you?

They'd be surprised that I'm on another board. I have the privilege of serving on the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, where I am chair of the Safety Committee.

Best piece of advice you've received?

Never quit. Period.

If someone asked you to teach for an hour about any topic at a moment's notice, what would you choose?

I would teach on leadership. All of my career and personal achievements can be simply attributed to my experience as an officer in the Marine Corps, where leadership is both fundamental and everything in success.

Who is your biggest supporter?

Super easy question. My wife, and our two boys, are my biggest supporters.
