Graduate business applicants seeking an early seat in a 2025 admissions class and first consideration for competitive assistantships providing financial assistance should apply by January 15. Admission decisions start soon after, and applications submitted after January 15 will be considered on a space-available basis. This new priority deadline is now in effect for all on-campus master’s degrees and Ph.D. program majors at the College of Business, including:
- Accounting (MAcc) for fall entry
- Business Administration (MBA)
- Accelerated, Full-Time MBA format – admits only for fall entry
- Accelerated, Evening MBA format – admits only for fall entry
- Business Analytics (MS-BA) for summer entry
- Finance (MSF) for summer entry
- Ph.D. in Business Administration for fall entry into the following majors: Finance, Management Information Systems, Organizational Behavior and Human Resources, Risk Management and Insurance, and Strategy. (Accounting and Marketing majors have an earlier, priority deadline of December 1.)
Additionally, the January 15 priority deadline now serves as the final deadline for international students seeking fall entry into any graduate program at FSU. For more information visit business.fsu.edu/graduate/international-applicants.
All other graduate business applicants must submit their completed materials by each program’s final deadline. Those final deadlines remain the same for all the college’s master’s programs, including part-time and online degrees in Business Administration (MBA), Management Information Systems (MS-MIS) and Risk Management and Insurance (MS-RMI). They are, March 1 for summer entry, June 1 for fall entry or October 1 for spring entry.
