Dr. Irena Hutton is the Gene Taylor/Bank of America Professor in the Department of Finance at Florida State University’s College of Business. She also serves as the director of the college’s Ph.D. Program with a major in finance and director of the college's Truist Free Enterprise Center. She teaches courses in financial management and valuation at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her research interests focus on various aspects of corporate governance and corporate litigation.
Hutton received her bachelor’s degree in finance and MBA from the University of Southern Maine and her Ph.D. in finance from City University of New York.
