RMI programs continue to rank well in U.S. News rankings
The Dr. William T. Hold/The National Alliance Program in Risk Management and Insurance continues to be highly ranked by U. S. News and World Report. The undergraduate RMI program’s overall ranking among both public and private school rose from No. 6 to No. 5 in the 2019 rankings. It also ranks No. 5 among public schools.
Both rankings are based on the program’s reputation for excellence among peer institutions. Additionally, U.S. News ranked the college’s online Master of Science in Risk Management and Insurance (MS-RMI) No. 8 among public schools and No. 12 overall. This ranking is based on factors such as student engagement (28 percent), expert opinion (25 percent), student excellence (25 percent), faculty credentials and training (11 percent) and student services and technologies (11 percent).
Both the College of Business and Florida State also moved up in U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 rankings. The undergraduate programs in college moved up to No. 26 among public business schools and No. 44 among all business schools, moving us closer to our goal of becoming a Top 25 business school. The university moved up seven spots to No. 26 among national public universities (No. 70 overall).
