Edward Shahnasarian is a principal at Thomas H. Lee Partners (THL), which he joined in 2013. Based in Boston, he also is a director of AmeriLife Group, Hightower Advisors and Insurance Technologies. His prior directorships include Prime Risk Partners and CompuCom Systems. Shahnasarian invests primarily in the insurance and wealth management industries. Prior to joining THL, Shahnasarian worked as a senior associate for Bernhard Capital Partners, a private equity fund based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and an analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group of the Investment Banking Division at J.P. Morgan. He earned a master’s degree in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2011.
