McKenzie Engel

McKenzie Engel is a leadership annual giving officer in the Florida State University College of Business, where she brings a unique blend of political and higher education fundraising experience to her new role. Before joining the College of Business, she served as a leadership annual giving officer at the university level, where she focused on engaging alumni and donors across campus. Prior to her time at FSU, Engel built a successful career in political fundraising in Florida, advancing from executive assistant to deputy finance director for Governor Ron DeSantis. During her five-year tenure, she led major fundraising initiatives, coordinated high-profile events and strengthened key donor relationships.

Engel earned her B.S. in political science from Florida State University.
