Dr. Cammy Crolic is an assistant professor in the Dr. Persis E. Rockwood School of Marketing at Florida State University’s College of Business. Previously, she was faculty at the University of Oxford and fellow of Green Templeton College.
Dr. Crolic studies consumer behavior and her research interests include hedonic and experiential consumption and consumer interactions with technology. She has published in top-tier academic journals, including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Research and Journal of Consumer Psychology. She has also written for The Wall Street Journal and has had her research featured in the Harvard Business Review, Channel 4 (UK), and on the Age of the Machine by UX Magazine podcast. Her work on social media and psychological well-being was funded by the Marketing Science Institute and was a finalist for the MSI 2023 Robert D. Buzzell Best Paper Award.
Cammy earned an MBA and Ph.D. and completed her undergraduate studies in psychology and marketing at the University of Florida. Prior to receiving her MBA, she worked for several years as a retail manager for Target Corporation.
