Carl Baum is excited to return to his alma mater as an associate director of development in Florida State University’s College of Business. After receiving his MBA in 2022 from FSU, Baum took his talents to Express Employment Professionals, serving as the branch manager, where he built a successful startup staffing operation that generated more than $2 million in its first year. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade at Florida State University College of Law supporting clinical operations, streamlining processes and driving technology adoption and compliance. In addition to his strong management and client service background, Baum holds a BFA from Jacksonville University. He is a notary public, an experienced team leader and brings with him a well-rounded mix of private and higher education experience.
Baum and his family are active in their local church (City Church) and love to travel and support each other in their artistic endeavors, whether acting, singing, dancing or photography. He most recently appeared as Daddy Warbucks in Annie at Young Actor’s Theatre.
