Dr. Guanyi Lu is an assistant professor in the Department of Business Analytics, Information Systems and Supply Chain at Florida State University’s College of Business. His areas of expertise are supply chain structure and integration, supply chain risk and security, and information and communication technology. Lu’s research has appeared in refereed journals, including Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Journal of Supply Chain Management and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management among others. He also is a member of the editorial board for Journal of Supply Chain Management and Journal of Marketing Channels.
Prior to his academic career, he served as an assistant supply chain manager for a leading Asia-based original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
Lu earned his bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His master’s degree and Ph.D. are in management information systems from Texas A&M University.
