Keith Jones is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Risk Management/Insurance, Real Estate and Legal Studies at Florida State University’s College of Business. He teaches courses at the undergraduate level in property and casualty insurance and risk management and insurance.
In his 30-plus years in the insurance industry, Jones earned professional designations as a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI). He also is an Emmy award-winning sportscaster as a college football analyst, serves as a color analyst for football and basketball on the Seminole/IMG Radio Network and hosts a weekly radio show - the Front Row - that airs on ESPN 97.9 locally in Tallahassee.
Jones received his bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance from Florida State University.
Keith and his wife Kathy (Florida State, Finance, 1978) reside in Tallahassee and Cape San Blas and have five children and eight grandchildren.
