Before coming to FSU, Pete spent more than 25 years as a journalist, including as sports editor and business editor at the Tallahassee Democrat. He also worked as a sports writer at the St. Petersburg (now Tampa Bay) Times, as a copy editor at Dow Jones Newswires and as consumer-finance editor at the Chicago Tribune.
