Alex Massey joined Florida State University's College of Business in August 2016 as a corporate relations officer, building relationships with companies seeking to connect with the College of Business in meaningful and impactful ways and to assist with their efforts in recruiting business students for internships, part-time and full-time jobs. In March 2022, Massey transitioned into the role of director of corporate sponsorships, where she worked with companies to secure sponsorships for College of Business events, student programs and alumni activities. As of January 2024, Massey serves as the College’s first stewardship coordinator, working to amplify stewardship, recognition, and donor appreciation initiatives in the College of Business. Prior to her role at the College of Business, Massey held positions with the FSU Foundation and Orange County Public Schools. Originally from Orlando, Florida, Massey moved to Tallahassee in 2005, where she earned both her Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Arts in arts administration from the Florida State University College of Music.
