Sherry Pappas is the director of internships and a course instructor in Business Career Services at Florida State University's College of Business. She is passionate about helping students navigate their internships and career paths. Focusing on personal insights and professional preparation, she ensures students align their strengths and skills with real-world demands and provides support as they prepare for the evolving job market.
Pappas holds an Ed.D. in learning design and performance technology, an MBA from FSU and a master's in mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University. With more than two decades in public service and leadership, she combines academic expertise and practical experience to empower students in their career development.
Pappas is a first-generation college student and former collegiate volleyball and softball athlete. She is dedicated to her faith and enjoys traveling with her husband, Jason. They often plan family trips around sporting events and music concerts, and they particularly love cheering on many of the Seminole athletic teams.
