Daryl Q. Wolfe is the former EVP, Chief Operations and Revenue Officer for NASCAR, recently retiring from the sport following a 30+ year career with the sports league and sanctioning body. He is continuing with various consulting responsibilies in and around the industry.
During his three-plus decades with NASCAR, Wolfe held various executive positions with both publicly-traded International Speedway Corporation (ISC), as well as the privately-held National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), prior to the merger of the two companies in 2019. Wolfe was the first non-NASCAR Board member to hold officer roles at both companies simultaneously. During his extended tenure, he oversaw operations and revenue related to the company's various assets, including corporate and consumer sales, partner/account management, marketing, communications, public affairs, racetrack property operations, event experience, media sales, licensing, print/publishing, photography, creative and marketing services.
Wolfe oversaw a multi-faceted staff that worked closely with the business's full suite of operating units and track properties to identify and implement innovative consumer marketing strategies designed to create/enhance fan engagement and entertainment while delivering a best-in-class guest experience from driveway to driveway.
In regards to corporate and media sales, Wolfe oversaw a staff that prospected, negotiated, secured and managed some of the most signifcant sponsorship agreements in the history of the sport, partnering with many of the most powerful and visible companies in America, including Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch, Molson Coors, PepsiCo, General Motors, Toyota, Ford, Comcast Universal, Exxon Mobil, Goodyear, Verizon, RJR Reynolds, along with many others.
Wolfe’s team also worked closely with the Sport's media partners over the years including ESPN, NBC, FOX, WBD, Turner, etc., focusing on pre-promotion, media sales, revenue generation, viewer/fan engagement related to the sport's events and initiatives.
Prior to NASCAR, Wolfe worked in the tax and financial industries, with both H&R Block and Mutual of New York. Wolfe graduated from Florida State University in 1992, earning a B.S. in Finance. He lives in Port Orange, Fla. with his wife Suzie, who also graduated from FSU. They have two children, son Connor and daughter Caroline. Connor graduated from FSU with an undergraduate and master's degree, and currently works in the sports marketing industry. Caroline is currently enrolled at FSU, and plans to attend law school following graduation.
