As COO, Southeast Region, Denise is responsible for providing day-to-day operations leadership for JLL’s Markets brokerage business. In this role, she works closely with brokerage leaders in the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida to successfully guide JLL’s brokerage business while maximizing the financial performance of each market, developing talent, and achieving strategic growth initiatives.

Prior to joining JLL, Dexter spent 13 years with Lincoln Harris, most recently as SVP and Director of Operations. In this position, she oversaw the functional and strategic operations of their real estate and the human resources and information technology departments of the firm. Prior to this position, she served as Southeast Regional Director of Property Management on the Bank of America account.

Dexter has a Bachelor of Science in finance from Florida State University and a Master of Business Administration specializing in international business, management information systems, and marketing from the University of South Florida.

She is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina, and she has a Master of Corporate Real Estate designation from CoreNet. Awards and recognition include the Mecklenburg Times’ 50 Most Influential Women, Charlotte Business Journal’s Top Women in Business, CREW Charlotte’s Career Advancement for Women, JLL Carolinas’ leadership, and she was nominated for the KPMG’s ATHENA Leadership Award.

Dexter has served on the Board of Directors of Commercial Real Estate Women in Charlotte, and she has served in many mentorship programs through JLL, CREW, and the Charlotte Business Journal.
