Dr. Gang Wang is the Madeline Duncan Rolland Associate Professor in the Department of Management at Florida State University’s College of Business. His research focuses on how leadership can increase individual, team and organizational effectiveness. Specifically, he is interested in roles played by leader behavior, emotion and human capital in follower motivation and performance, team process and performance, and firm financial performance. His research has appeared in journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Leadership Quarterly and Group and Organization Management

Wang received his bachelor’s degree in textile engineering from Qingdao University, his MBA from the University of Pantheon-Sorbonne and his doctoral degree in organizational behavior and human resource management from the University of Iowa.
