Jason Franks is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Business Analytics, Information Systems and Supply Chain at Florida State University’s College of Business. He teaches an introductory course in management information systems and business telecommunications at the undergraduate level. Franks has more than two decades of hands-on IT experience in sales and as a solutions consultant, systems administrator, database administrator, DevOps developer and security administrator, creating a well-rounded and practical perspective of IT and infrastructure management.

Franks earned his bachelor’s degree in information studies and master’s degree in management information systems, both from Florida State University. He also has a bachelor’ degree in physics from Xavier University. He also has certificates in management, DevOps, databases and system administration.
