Dr. Jeong Ho (John) Kim is an assistant professor in the Department of Finance at Florida State University’s College of Business. His research interests include asset pricing/investments, mutual funds, investor behavior, and behavioral economics (mostly rational inattention). His recent awards include the 2023 KAEA Young Scholar Award, the 2021 Korea Exchange Outstanding Paper Award and the 2020 CIRF Research Award.

Prior to coming to FSU, Kim was an assistant professor of economics at Emory University. He also serves as a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. 

Kim earned his bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. degrees in economics – all from Princeton University.
