Jonathan Jackson is an associate lecturer in the Dr. Persis E. Rockwood School of Marketing at Florida State University’s College of Business. He also serves as a veteran liaison for the College of Business.
His areas of expertise include marketing strategy, digital marketing, social media marketing, data-driven marketing and customer experience/journey. In addition to teaching courses at FSU, he organizes the college’s digital marketing strategy and execution across multiple platforms.
Prior to coming to FSU, Jackson was an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina and an adjunct lecturer at Midlands Technical College. His industry marketing experience includes working for Verizon, South Carolina Insurance News Service and Hallmark Homes International. He also served for five years in the United States Army in the U.S., Germany and Iraq, earning four Army commendation medals.
Jackson received his bachelor’s degree in English and journalism and International MBA in marketing from the University of South Carolina.
Jonathan spent five years on active duty as a cavalry scout in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of the Iraq War. An experienced actor, he has performed on stage, television, and film since age 12.
