As the director of Student Engagement, Marissa Mainwood is responsible for facilitating student mentorship programs, student events and other professional development activities and programming. Additionally, she serves as an advisor to the Student Leadership Council, Presidents Council and Business Brigades student organizations. Mainwood also developed and instructs the college’s section of IDS 1107, an Engage 100 course offering.

In addition to her role in the College of Business, Mainwood serves as a part-time teaching assistant/course mentor for the Dedman College of Hospitality. Currently, she is a doctoral student in the College of Education pursuing a Ph.D. in higher education.
