Shannon Young

Shannon has over 25 years of experience in education, including more than 20 years in event planning and 30 years of combined expertise in consumer relations and administrative operations. 

She has a proven track record in designing, managing, and executing high-profile events hosted by the Herbert Wertheim College of Business Sales Institute. To include the internationally recognized programs such as the International Collegiate Sales Competition and the Sales Educators’ Academy. Her experience also includes coordinating large-scale events such as the Seminole Sales Showcase, Professional Sales Team Bootcamp, and other signature initiatives.

She demonstrates strong financial and operational acumen, overseeing event budgets, managing departmental financial plans, and maintaining accurate accounting systems. Shannon is highly effective in building and sustaining relationships with corporate sponsors while actively supporting donor recruitment efforts aligned with organizational goals. Known for her ability to manage complex projects, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and ensure seamless execution, she consistently contributes to program growth and organizational success.
