The Special Academic Program in Finance is available for qualified students from the FSU partner institutions of Henan University of Economics and Law (HUEL), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Nanjing Audit University (NAU), Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU), and Southwest University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) in China.

This unique program provides talented and highly qualified finance students at HUEL, HUST NAU, SWJTU, and SWUFE with the opportunity to study for two semesters at Florida State University and complete the graduation requirements for the degree from the home institution.  The two semester program integrates students academically, socially and culturally into university life at an outstanding research institution and helps prepare them for graduate study in the U.S. Students take a prescribed course of study during both semesters.  Students receive ongoing support from Peer Mentors who serve as cultural liaisons and help students adapt to the new environment and serve as ongoing resources.  Students meeting the criteria for admission to the graduate program in Finance will be encouraged to apply during the spring semester of their senior year spent at FSU.
