RMI Research Symposium

About

The Dr. William T. Hold/The Alliance’s Program in Risk Management and Insurance at Florida State University College of Business is holding its fourth annual research symposium at The Westin Tampa Waterside in Tampa, Florida on January 22-24, 2026. The location is a short drive from Tampa International Airport.

The goal of the symposium is to facilitate a setting where authors can present their work in detail and receive helpful and critical feedback from a group of risk and insurance economists. Authors of accepted papers will be given approximately one hour to present their work, and each paper also will be assigned a discussant to provide detailed feedback on their paper. The Dr. William T. Hold/The Alliance’s Program in Risk Management and Insurance will provide hotel accommodations for one author of each accepted paper.
