The Carl DeSantis Center for Executive Management Education focuses on enhancing the knowledge and skills of managers who demonstrate a strong potential for advancing to the executive level of their organizations. The college offers several online programs tailored to professionals serving in management roles. These programs do not require relocation to Tallahassee. Instead, they provide managers the flexibility to continue working full-time while building upon their skills and immediately applying their new knowledge in corporate America:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) (seven semesters online) - Managers benefit from the same faculty members who teach our full-time MBA courses on campus. Further expertise may be obtained by choosing a specialization focused on real estate finance and analysis, or Florida State’s newest MBA major (only six semesters) in hospitality and tourism management.
- Master of Science in Management Information Systems (MS-MIS) (six semesters online) - This program prepares managers to move up in a company’s IT hierarchy by bolstering their combined managerial, technical and analytical skills.
- Master of Science in Risk Management and Insurance (MS-RMI) (six semesters online) - Florida State’s Top-10 ranked Dr. William T. Hold/The National Alliance Program in Risk Management and Insurance is one of the nation’s oldest and largest producers of RMI management professionals.

FSU Sales Trainer Academy
The FSU Sales Trainer Academy (STA) was created to enhance corporate sales training programs by combining education on adult learning and sales methodologies and processes into one program aimed at front-line sales trainers and those who lead sales training initiatives.
Offered by the FSU Sales Institute, this professional certification provides advanced training and practice with foundational selling skills and adult learning concepts. The goal is to help sales enablement professionals of ALL experience levels improve their ability to teach the concepts and facilitate interactive practice of the skills that members of their sales team need to drive better results. The Sales Trainer Academy is designed for sales trainers, sales enablement professionals and sales managers.
