Graduate Advising

The Graduate Programs Office advises students in person and remotely. Be assured your academic advisor will continue to work with you through whichever means is best for you (in person, via Zoom, or via email). If you are not a current FSU graduate student, please email the appropriate academic program specialist below based on your program of interest or complete our request form to receive emailed information.

The Graduate Programs Office manages the admission and advising of all students in our six master’s programs and our doctoral program’s seven majors. Our academic program specialists assist with admission questions and provide comprehensive advising and program planning services once students are enrolled.

Admissions: For questions related to admission applications, please visit with us well in advance of the degree program’s posted admissions deadline so that we may ensure you have all the information you need to submit your application materials in time. In addition, our staff members offer information about the wide range of resources and opportunities available to graduate students at Florida State University.

Registration: Students do not need to wait until registration begins to meet with an advisor to discuss future course schedules.

Location: Housed in 336 Rovetta Business Building (RBB), the office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. We encourage interested students to request an appointment with one of our advisors via email, calling our office at 850-644-6458 or stopping by the office.
