Florida State University’s College of Business once again secured Top 25 rankings on U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 list of the nation’s best online master’s degree programs released today.

Businesses increasingly are accessing and analyzing consumer opinions and behavior on social media and converting them into insights that enable strategic decisions. A new Social Media Analytics course offered at the College of Business helps students hone their skills at harnessing this information to benefit future employers.

The insights student keynote speaker Razvan Petrescu shared with his fellow graduates at the College of Business Master’s Hooding Ceremony last month were gleaned from his two years as a graduate student at Florida State University and 20 years as a management information systems professional in international banking.

Architects from Boston-based Goody Clancy recently visited the College of Business to run through the final design plans for Legacy Hall and solicit suggestions for tweaks from faculty and staff members before the building project moves to the construction development planning phase.

Preparing to compete in the recent Tech Global Retail Challenge case competition provided the College of Business student team with a lesson in the value of collaborative thinking and building the right team.

It was at a recent College of Business alumni event in Tampa that Adam and Mindee Besnard first realized they could help move the college closer toward the fall 2019 groundbreaking of its new building – and at the same time build a legacy into the future.
