FSU honors alumnus Allan Bense with honorary doctorate

Florida State University granted an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree Monday, March 25, to alumnus Allan G. Bense, a prominent Florida businessman, former speaker of the Florida House of Representatives and former chairman of the FSU Board of Trustees, in recognition of his years as a dedicated public servant and his devotion to his alma mater.

Florida State University’s College of Business once again secured Top 25 rankings on U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 list of the nation’s best online master’s degree programs released today.

A new Social Media Analytics course offered at the College of Business helps students hone their skills at harnessing this information to benefit future employers.

Architects from Boston-based Goody Clancy recently visited the College of Business to run through the final design plans for Legacy Hall and solicit suggestions for tweaks from faculty and staff members before the building project moves to the construction development planning phase.
