Evan D. Jennings Executive Speaker Series

The Evan D. Jennings Executive Speaker Series brings executive leaders and decision makers to the campus to discuss key issues, trends and policies affecting the real estate industry and student career strategies. This forum, promoted jointly with the FSU Real Estate Center and the DeVoe Moore Center, is made possible by a generous gift from Evan D. Jennings. Held in the fall and spring semesters, the series is free and open to the public.

FSU REAL ESTATE TRENDS CONFERENCE

First hosted in 1995, the FSU Real Estate TRENDS Conference is a world-class business forum organized to highlight the emerging trends and conditions facing the real estate industry and to discuss conditions affecting national, regional and local markets. The conference consistently brings together experts from across the country with the goal of informing, challenging and inspiring its attendees. A sold-out crowd for the last several years, more than 700 registrants attend the conference each year.


FSU-Kislak Real Estate Market Strategies Forums

Designed to assess regional market conditions and opportunities, the FSU-Kislak Real Estate Market Strategies Forums bring together each region’s real estate business leaders and decision-makers. The forums feature top industry executives leading discussions and Q&As, as well as networking receptions. The South Florida Forum is held in Miami, while the Central Florida Forum alternates annually between Tampa and Orlando.


FSU-UF Critical Issues Symposium

Each year this symposium brings together a select group of leading scholars from around the world to present and discuss their research on the issues of the day. The papers selected for presentation may be invited for publication in a special issue of a leading journal, subject to the journal’s refereed review process. The symposium is organized jointly by the FSU Real Estate Center and the Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies at the University of Florida.


intro to ARGUS Seminar

The Intro to ARGUS seminar is offered each fall and spring as a two-day seminar to students in the Real Estate Program. Taught by David Beshears, managing director of Beshears & Associates and an executive lecturer at FSU, the seminar provides students an overview of ARGUS and a path to ARGUS certification.


Real Deals & Entrepreneurs Speaker Series

The Real Deals & Entrepreneur Series brings executive lecturers to campus to discuss with students the “nuts & bolts” of their recent deals and day-to-day transactions.
