The War Room

The Real Estate Research Lab (RBB 333), or the ‘War Room,’ is space dedicated to advancing the profession and training a new generation of experts. The room, designed for collaborative work and video conferencing, can accommodate up to twelve people and has two large touchscreen computers running a variety of powerful applications specific to real estate. The facility was made possible by an anonymous gift from an alumnus of the real estate program with the hope that it would encourage similar gifts.

The room is made available for all faculty in the College of Business and their student teams to use. The room may be reserved by faculty and/or their students up to one month in advance. Real estate faculty may reserve the room up to four months in advance.

Students who want to use the room must first have a Usage Agreement on file with the Real Estate Center. The agreement must be signed by the student and a faculty sponsor of the team and then given to Jolene Hazelwood in the Dean’s Office (RBA 314).  Once a student has a signed Usage Agreement on file, he or she may make room reservation requests here. The student will receive an e-mail either confirming or denying the request (please allow up to one week for requests to be processed).  College of Business faculty may request the room for their own use without an agreement on file.

In order to reserve this room, please check the room calendar and request the room.
