Online programs stand strong among nation’s best

Task force to identify racism, increase diversity

A new College of Business Anti-Racism, Diversity and Inclusion Task Force will engage the college community in open dialogue about these critical issues. Initiated by the college’s leadership, the group’s goals are to identify sources of systemic racism and increase diversity.

College ranks No. 28 nationally, Top 5 in two specialty programs

The Florida State University College of Business moved closer to its goal of achieving a Top 25 ranking among the nation’s public business schools. The college’s undergraduate program jumped to No. 28 from last year’s ranking of No. 31 among public universities in the U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges Guide 2021” rankings released Sept. 14. Among all universities, the college rose six spots to No. 44 from No. 50.

Florida State University retained its place in the Top 20 among national public universities in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings, while improving in several key measures considered in the publication’s methodology. 


Surge in graduate applications leads to record enrollment

Bucking national trends, the Florida State University College of Business’ new master’s student enrollment skyrocketed to 932 students for 2020, more than doubling the 434 students starting in 2019.
